WHAT IS SUNDAY SOCIAL?
Sunday Social is a relaxed, off-leash social experience where dogs get the opportunity to interact, play, explore, and communicate naturally with one another.
Dogs arrive on leash and remain leashed until they enter the designated yard. Once inside, they're able to be off leash and join the group.
Sit back, observe, and step in when needed.
Rather than constantly interrupting normal dog-to-dog communication, we give dogs room to navigate social situations while Psyche K9 trainers observe their body language, interactions, play styles, boundaries, and overall behavior.
When something needs attention, that's when we step in.
This gives owners an opportunity to see what healthy communication between dogs actually looks like, learn when intervention is necessary, and become more confident reading their own dog.

Sunday Social is meant to feel social for the humans, too.
Throughout the social, Psyche K9 trainers are there to observe the group and help when needed. You may see us redirect a dog, interrupt an interaction, create space, or explain something happening between dogs.
Other times?
We simply let the dogs be dogs.

What Do I Bring?
You, Your Dog & A leash!
SERIOUSLY. THAT'S IT.
Bring your dog on a leash.
Dogs enter and leave the facility leashed, then enjoy the designated off-leash yard during Sunday Social.
Everything else you typically need while you're there is usually provided by Idaho Pups & Ales.
Leash up.
Show up.
Hang out.
WHY WE LOVE SUNDAY SOCIAL??
SOCIALIZATION IS SO MUCH MORE THAN DOGS SIMPLY PLAYING TOGETHER.
It's learning how to approach another dog. When to back off. How to respond to boundaries. How to handle excitement. How to communicate. And sometimes, how to simply coexist.
Sunday Social creates an environment where we can watch those conversations unfold naturally and offer guidance when the dogs need a little help navigating them.
It's relaxed. It's educational. It's community.
And yes, it's also really fun.
